Rubygem-rails_stdout_logging

Jul 20, 2023

Overrides Rails’ built in logger to send all logs to stdout

This gem ensures that your logs will be sent to standard out. From there, Heroku sends them to logplex so you can access them from the command line like

$ heroku logs –tail

or from enabled addons like papertrail. By using Heroku’s logplex, you can treat logs as event streams.
