X11 Extension library
libXext history
v. 1.17
date: 2007/05/19 20:26:50; author: flz; state: Exp; lines: +65 -16
- Welcome X.org 7.2 \o/.
- Set X11BASE to ${LOCALBASE} for recent ${OSVERSION}.
- Bump PORTREVISION for ports intalling files in ${X11BASE}.
v. 1.16
date: 2006/02/23 10:39:53; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +0 -1
Conversion to a single libtool environment.
Approved by: portmgr (kris)
v. 1.15
date: 2005/11/15 06:51:42; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order. The code present
in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.
Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.
Preliminary documentation can be found at:
http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt
which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.
Light blue touch-paper. Run.
v. 1.14
date: 2005/04/12 03:26:47; author: obrien; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
At Kris's request, back out the MACHINE_ARCH spelling correction until
after 5.4-RELEASE.
v. 1.13
date: 2005/04/11 08:04:27; author: obrien; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Assist getting more ports working on AMD64 by obeying the
Ports Collection documentation and use 'ARCH' rather than 'MACHINE_ARCH'.
v. 1.12
date: 2005/03/06 00:15:03; author: lesi; state: Exp; lines: +0 -1
Remove hardcoding of MTREE_FILE. This is handled in bsd.port.mk since
rev. 1.503 for ${PREFIX} == ${XPREFIX} cases.
v. 1.11
date: 2005/02/14 21:35:26; author: lesi; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Fix MASTER_SITES.
v. 1.10
date: 2004/12/09 20:55:54; author: anholt; state: Exp; lines: +1 -0
Use the right MTREE_FILE, since we're not using USE_X_PREFIX.
v. 1.9
date: 2004/07/26 18:32:42; author: anholt; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Register missing CONFLICTS, mostly on xorg-libraries-*
Reported by: Kent Stewart
v. 1.8
date: 2004/07/09 17:42:57; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Apply a big libtool patch to allow porters to use the libtool installed by
the libtoolX ports instead of the one included with each port. Ports that
set USE_LIBTOOL_VER=X will now use the ports version of libtool instead of
the included version. To restore previous behavior, use the new macro,
USE_INC_LIBTOOL_VER. Both macros accept the same argument: a libtool version.
For example, to use the ports version of libtool-1.5, add the following to
your Makefile:
USE_LIBTOOL_VER= 15
To use the included version of libtool with extra hacks provided by
libtool-1.5, add the following to your Makefile:
USE_INC_LIBTOOL_VER= 15
With this change, ports that had to add additional libtool hacks to prevent
.la files from being installed or to fix certain threading issues can now
delete those hacks (after appropriate testing, of course).

v. 1.7
date: 2004/05/11 07:19:50; author: anholt; state: Exp; lines: +1 -2
Update to 6.4.3.
v. 1.6
date: 2004/05/10 03:14:06; author: anholt; state: Exp; lines: +4 -5
Correct dependencies so xextensions always comes with the package.
v. 1.5
date: 2004/03/24 18:28:24; author: lofi; state: Exp; lines: +2 -0
Declare CONFLICTS between freedesktop.org X extension/library ports and
XFree86-libraries.
v. 1.4
date: 2004/03/14 06:17:37; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
Whoa there, boy, that's a mighty big commit y'all have there...
Begin autotools sanitization sequence by requiring ports to explicitly
specify which version of {libtool,autoconf,automake} they need, erasing
the concept of a "system default".
For ports-in-waiting:
USE_LIBTOOL=YES -> USE_LIBTOOL_VER=13
USE_AUTOCONF=YES -> USE_AUTOCONF_VER=213
USE_AUTOMAKE=YES -> USE_AUTOMAKE_VER=14
Ports attempting to use the old style system after June 1st 2004 will be
sorely disappointed.
v. 1.3
date: 2004/02/04 05:09:45; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -0
Bump PORTREVISION on all ports that depend on gettext to aid with upgrading.
(Part 1)
v. 1.2
date: 2004/01/25 08:25:48; author: anholt; state: Exp; lines: +4 -5
Update to 6.4.2
v. 1.1
date: 2003/12/22 01:02:26; author: anholt; state: Exp;
New port: Prerelease version of libXext from freedesktop.org:
X Extension library.
Testing is encouraged, but please do not use these ports as dependencies until
they are updated to release tarballs and the XFree86 ports have been updated to
depend on them.
