FreeBSD x11-fm : velocity

GNOME file and desktop manager

This is a port of velocity. A file and desktop manager for GNOME designed to
replace Nautilus. It is designed to be fast, efficient, and very powerful.
It supports advanced features such as:

   * View Profiles - Allowing you to customize the way you view files.
   * Context menu image preview - allowing you a clearer view of thumbnailed
			          files.
   * Add-ons - Scripts to help do odd or complex tasks and Templates to make
	       creating new documents simpler.

v. 1.17
date: 2007/12/10 22:59:30; author: pav; state: Exp; lines: +7 -1
- Mark BROKEN on FreeBSD 7.0

Reported by:	pointyhat
Approved by:	portmgr (hat)

v. 1.16 date: 2007/10/24 23:37:07; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Presenting GNOME 2.20.1 and all related works for FreeBSD. The official GNOME 2.20 release notes can be found at http://www.gnome.org/start/2.20/notes/en/ . Beyond that, this update includes the new GIMP 2.4 (courtesy of ahze). The GNOME 2.20 update also includes a huge change in the FreeBSD GNOME hierarchy. We are now using the more standard DATADIR of ${PREFIX}/share rather than ${PREFIX}/share/gnome. The result is that fewer patches and hacks are needed to port GNOME components to FreeBSD. This will mean some user changes may be required, so be sure to read /usr/ports/UPDATING for more details. This release and the things we accomplished in it would not have been possible without mezz's crazy idea to collapse DATADIR, and his persistence to make it happen successfully. Ahze and pav also deserve thanks for their work on porting modules and testing the whole ball of wax on pointyhat (respectively). The FreeBSD GNOME team would also like to thank our various testers and contributors: Yasuda Keisuke Frank Jahnke Pawel Worach Brian Gruber Franz Klammer Yuri Pankov Nick Barkas Cristian KLEIN Tony Maher Scot Hetzel Martin Matuska (mm) Benoit Dejean Martin Wilke (miwi) (And anyone else I may have missed) PRs fixed in this release: 111272, 113470, 115995, 116338
v. 1.15 date: 2007/05/19 20:29:00; author: flz; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 - Welcome X.org 7.2 \o/. - Set X11BASE to ${LOCALBASE} for recent ${OSVERSION}. - Bump PORTREVISION for ports intalling files in ${X11BASE}.
v. 1.14 date: 2006/10/14 08:54:48; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -2 Chase the GNOME X11BASE to LOCALBASE move, and fix the build with the new freetype2 where needed. Submitted by: mezz, ahze, pav, and many others Approved by: portmgr (implicit, kris)
v. 1.13 date: 2006/05/13 05:00:25; author: edwin; state: Exp; lines: +0 -1 Remove USE_REINPLACE from categories starting with X
v. 1.12 date: 2006/02/23 10:40:02; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Conversion to a single libtool environment. Approved by: portmgr (kris)
v. 1.11 date: 2005/11/15 06:51:48; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order. The code present in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself. Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it. Preliminary documentation can be found at: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the Porters Handbook. Light blue touch-paper. Run.
v. 1.10 date: 2005/11/05 05:19:17; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Bump PORTREVISION to chase the glib20 shared library update.

v. 1.8 date: 2005/03/12 10:53:28; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Bump PORTREVISION to chase the glib20 shared lib version change.
v. 1.7 date: 2004/11/07 22:37:27; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Bump PORTREVISIONS for all ports that depend on atk or pango to ease in the big upgrade.
v. 1.6 date: 2004/04/05 03:29:59; author: marcus; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Chase the glib20 update, and bump all affected ports' PORTREVISIONs.
v. 1.5 date: 2004/03/16 10:35:40; author: pav; state: Exp; lines: +5 -0 - Allow build on upcoming gcc-2.4 by removing *_DISABLE_DEPRECATED PR: ports/64175 Submitted by: Mezz Approved by: maintainer
v. 1.4 date: 2004/03/14 06:17:40; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Whoa there, boy, that's a mighty big commit y'all have there... Begin autotools sanitization sequence by requiring ports to explicitly specify which version of {libtool, autoconf, automake} they need, erasing the concept of a "system default". For ports-in-waiting: USE_LIBTOOL=YES -> USE_LIBTOOL_VER=13 USE_AUTOCONF=YES -> USE_AUTOCONF_VER=213 USE_AUTOMAKE=YES -> USE_AUTOMAKE_VER=14 Ports attempting to use the old style system after June 1st 2004 will be sorely disappointed.
v. 1.3 date: 2004/03/01 18:31:17; author: pav; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 - Add patch to use full list of groups PR: ports/63302 Submitted by: Henri Michelon Approved by: maintainer
