A simplistic reader for SOUP (HDPF) mail and news packets
This is a port of slnr (Simple Local News Reader). Slnr is intended
as a SOUP reader for non-UNIX machines so the port includes a few
modifications to make it more consistant with the UNIX paradigm. No
advanced features, such as kill-files, are available and you should,
if possible, use news-readers such as `trn' to read your news.

slnr history
v. 1.9
date: 2003/03/07 06:07:46; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -0
Clear moonlight beckons.
Requiem mors pacem pkg-comment,
And be calm ports tree.
E Nomini Patri, E Fili, E Spiritu Sancti.
v. 1.8
date: 2002/09/05 01:35:42; author: hoek; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2
This port should probably be put to rest, since I don't think
anyone uses SOUP packets to read mail anymore (and if they do,
surely someone must have written a better SOUP reader by now).
However, fix the 5+ year-old MAINTAINER address in the meantime.
v. 1.7
date: 2000/04/09 17:33:20; author: cpiazza; state: Exp; lines: +3 -3
Update with the new PORTNAME/PORTVERSION variables
v. 1.6
date: 1999/08/30 14:31:54; author: peter; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
$Id$ -> $FreeBSD$
v. 1.5
date: 1999/07/04 21:34:45; author: steve; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2
No need to use -p since ${MKDIR} == 'mkdir -p'.
v. 1.4
date: 1997/04/01 04:35:34; author: max; state: Exp; lines: +11 -25
Upgrade, 2.13 -> 2.3.0.

(Closing PR #3002.)
v. 1.3
date: 1996/11/18 11:38:06; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2
Use MAN? macros. CATEGORIES+= -> CATEGORIES.
v. 1.2
date: 1996/11/13 12:41:30; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2
Fix Makefiles to work with new bsd.port.mk. Mostly just replacing
${COMPRESS_MAN} so they will at least work. I will come back later
and get rid of all the .if !defined(NOMANCOMPRESS) stuff.
v. 1.1
date: 1996/11/01 08:08:54; author: asami; state: Exp;
branches: 1.1.1;
Initial revision
v. 1.1.1.1
