FreeBSD benchmarks : dkftpbench

A FTP benchmark program

dkftpbench is an FTP benchmark program inspired by SPECweb99. The result of the
benchmark is a number-of-simultaneous-users rating; after running the benchmark
properly, you have a good idea how many simultaneous dialup clients a server
can support. The target bandwidth per client is set at 28.8 kilobits/second to
model dialup users; this is important for servers on the real Internet, which
often serve thousands of clients on only 10 MBits/sec of bandwidth.

v. 1.6 date: 2005/11/15 06:48:10; author: ade; state: Exp; lines: +1 -2 Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order. The code present in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself. Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it. Preliminary documentation can be found at: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~ade/autotools.txt which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the Porters Handbook. Light blue touch-paper. Run.
v. 1.5 date: 2005/04/12 03:24:56; author: obrien; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 At Kris's request, back out the MACHINE_ARCH spelling correction until after 5.4-RELEASE.
v. 1.4 date: 2005/04/11 08:01:29; author: obrien; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Assist getting more ports working on AMD64 by obeying the Ports Collection documentation and use 'ARCH' rather than 'MACHINE_ARCH'.
v. 1.3 date: 2005/03/08 07:38:30; author: novel; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Use @freebsd.org address for my ports. Approved by: krion (mentor)
