FreeBSD audio : festvox-aec

American English male voice for Festival speech synthesis system

 from the NetBSD maintainer:

This voice provides an American English male voice using a
residual excited LPC diphone synthesis module, both created
at OGI. It uses a lexicon compiled from MOBY and CMU
lexicons, and other trained modules used by CSTR voices.

This voice can be activated via (voice_aec_diphone) .

v. 1.8
date: 2007/05/19 19:58:32; author: flz; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1
- Welcome X.org 7.2 \o/.
- Set X11BASE to ${LOCALBASE} for recent ${OSVERSION}.
- Bump PORTREVISION for ports intalling files in ${X11BASE}.

v. 1.7 date: 2006/04/11 17:15:24; author: jylefort; state: Exp; lines: +3 -0 Actually fix the packing list.
v. 1.6 date: 2006/04/11 17:04:43; author: jylefort; state: Exp; lines: +0 -2 This is no longer broken.
v. 1.5 date: 2006/03/25 21:15:22; author: kris; state: Exp; lines: +2 -0 BROKEN: Incomplete pkg-plist
v. 1.4 date: 2006/02/11 21:02:59; author: netchild; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Reset maintainership to ports@ after ~4 months without any response to any PR. Thanks for contributing. Since the acroread7 port is a somewhat important port for our users, I will hand it over to emulation@ if no _active_ *committer* takes it before the ports freeze. While I'm here: - fix a little nit in the csound port (I think the intention was to create no backup file instead of creating one with a "-e" extension) - set ARCH to i386 in the amd64 case for the acroread7 port. This is a work-around to be able to install everything when a dependency is not already installed (ARCH is read-only in sub-makes, so the dependencies can't change it). This should be removed when the dependencies are fixed or converted to use bsd.linux-rpm.mk. [1] Not objected to by: portmgr (explicit: krion; silence: rest) Maintainer timeout: ~4 months Submitted by: Sangwoo Shim [1] PR: 87985 [1]
v. 1.3 date: 2003/11/17 21:15:57; author: trevor; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Use my FreeBSD.org address.
v. 1.2 date: 2003/11/13 10:11:31; author: trevor; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Remove my e-mail address from comment blocks of ports I have contributed, in hopes of attracting less spam.
v. 1.1 date: 2003/11/05 01:23:00; author: trevor; state: Exp; Add port of the "aec" American male voice, for Festival with the OGI extensions. I prepared this in June of 2000 but just noticed now that it had not been committed.
