v. 1.23 date: 2000/08/03 09:28:11; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +3 -3 (1) Add new variable, XFREE86_VERSION, to specify which version of XFree86 (3 or 4) to depend to when USE_XLIB is set. XFREE86_VERSION defaults to 3 for now, but adventurous users can override it in /etc/make.conf. When XFREE86_VERSION=3, USE_XLIB will add a dependency to x11/XFree86; when it is set to 4, the dependency will be to x11/XFree86-4-libraries. When XFREE86_VERSION=4, the PKG_IGNORE_DEPENDS and ALWAYS_BUILD_DEPENDS hacks to avoid messing with XFree86 are turned off. Since XFree86 version 4 includes some software that used to be separate ports, when XFREE86_VERSION=3 the following variables are provided: USE_DGS LIB_DEPENDS on x11/dgs USE_FREETYPE LIB_DEPENDS on print/freetype USE_MESA LIB_DEPENDS on graphics/Mesa3 USE_XPM LIB_DEPENDS on graphics/xpm When XFREE86_VERSION=4, these variables have no effect. The LIB_DEPENDS in the tree for the above four ports have all been converted to the USE_* counterparts. For your information, this is the count of the number of ports: USE_DGS 0 USE_FREETYPE 16 USE_MESA 36 USE_XPM 236 There is a new variable, XAWVER, which is set to 6 when XFREE86_VERSION=3 and 7 when XFREE86_VERSION=4. This is also passed to PLIST_SUB so ports that build Xaw based shared libraries can use this variable to substitute the shlib version number. There is also a provision of using a separate mtree file for XFREE86_VERSION=4, but that part is not enabled yet. v. 1.16 date: 1998/10/20 04:06:17; author: smace; state: Exp; lines: +3 -2 Cleanup of olvwm. Add dependency of Xpm
v. 1.15 date: 1998/10/04 04:03:16; author: steve; state: Exp; lines: +2 -1 Move manpages to the Makefile and use MAN* macros.
v. 1.14 date: 1998/09/21 22:15:59; author: steve; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2 Remove regexp support for libxview not that it builds ELF too.
v. 1.13 date: 1998/08/24 01:28:42; author: steve; state: Exp; lines: +10 -5 Update to version 4.2. PR: 7626 Submitted by: Brian Feldman
v. 1.12 date: 1998/08/07 23:56:53; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2 Fix up dependencies for ports that moved into the x11-toolkits category.
v. 1.11 date: 1998/08/07 23:01:40; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2 Move "afterstep-devel afterstep amiwm blackbox ctwm enlightenment fvwm fvwm2 fvwm95 gwm icewm lwm mlvwm olvwm piewm qvwm tvtwm windowmaker wm2 wmx" from x11 to x11-wm.
v. 1.10 date: 1996/11/18 13:06:09; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Typo ($id$ -> $Id$).
v. 1.9 date: 1996/11/18 11:43:22; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Use MAN? macros. CATEGORIES+= -> CATEGORIES.
v. 1.8 date: 1995/10/05 12:38:12; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +5 -6 Use PATCHFILES instead of custom pre-patch target. Yeah I know, don't fix if it ain't broke, but still....
v. 1.7 date: 1995/04/12 20:31:17; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +6 -4 And now the rest of the x11 ports Makefiles.
v. 1.6 date: 1995/04/01 12:51:01; author: jkh; state: Exp; lines: +1 -0 Add CATEGORIES lines to a whole bunch of port Makefiles. Some ports are in multiple catagories - I'll expect the various MAINTAINERS to make further adjustments (and add any KEYWORDS lines) themselves.
v. 1.5 date: 1995/02/27 19:03:56; author: ats; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Change the use of the official patch from pre-configure to pre-patch. It should be used before the private FreeBSD patches are used on the source.
v. 1.4 date: 1995/02/11 13:51:29; author: asami; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Converted Makefiles as much as I could. (1) Took out INSTALL_MANPAGES (not necessary anymore, porter should set NO_INSTALL_MANPAGES for not calling "make install.man") (2) Replaced most of DEPENDS with EXEC_DEPENDS and LIB_DEPENDS. These are the entries I used: EXEC_DEPENDS: unzip:${PORTSDIR}/archivers/unzip gmake:${PORTSDIR}/devel/gmake wishx:${PORTSDIR}/lang/tclX xli:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/xli gs:${PORTSDIR}/print/ghostscript gunshar:${PORTSDIR}/archivers/gshar+gunshar hfs:${PORTSDIR}/utils/hfs rman:${PORTSDIR}/utils/rman LIB_DEPENDS: tiff\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/tiff jpeg\\.5\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/jpeg Xpm\\.4\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/xpm tcl\\.7\\.:${PORTSDIR}/lang/tcl tk\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/tk xview\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/xview-lib Xaw3d\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/Xaw3d mpeg\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/graphics/mpeg-lib xview\\.3\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/xview-lib BLT\\.1\\.:${PORTSDIR}/x11/blt There are still some dependencies I can't figure out what exactly is needed. If your port still has DEPENDS in it, please check it out!
v. 1.3 date: 1995/01/07 13:16:43; author: jkh; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 I'll assume this really depends on xview-lib?
v. 1.2 date: 1994/10/22 08:39:41; author: smace; state: Exp; lines: +1 -0 Add dependcy on xview (needs libolgx)
v. 1.1 date: 1994/10/22 07:35:12; author: smace; state: Exp; branches: 1.1.1; Initial revision
v. 1.1.1.1 date: 1994/10/22 07:35:13; author: smace; state: Exp; lines: +0 -0 olvwm 4.1 =============================================================================
